Summary of the Editorial Process

• The author submits a manuscript and it is given a manuscript number.

• The editorial board carries out an initial quality check on the manuscript to ensure that the paper is formatted correctly.

• The Editorial Advisory Board expert then assesses the manuscript for its standard and perceived level of advance and then he/she will recommends / rejects or assigns peer reviewers. This can take some time depending on the responsiveness and availability of reviewers selected.

• Peer Reviewers are given 12 days time from acceptance to submit their reports through mail. Once the required reports are submitted, Editorial Board Member will make a recommendation for publication to the Editor in Chief based on the report received.

• The Editor in Chief makes the final decision.Authors are able to monitor the status of their paper throughout the peer review process. Also, they can contact our Editorial board through mail.

Pre-submission Enquiries / Process

Please note that, our Editors-in-Chief cannot personally reply to Phone calls regarding pre-submission queries. Instead, the Editor-in-Chief would like to share the following statement:

When contemplating submission to Asian Journal of Research Scholars, authors should consider:

• Is the research novel and does it represent an appropriate advance in Engineering, Science and Social Sciences?

• Does the work certainly fit within the scope of our journal?

• Has the research been conducted with state-of-the-art approaches?

• The Editor in Chief makes the final decision.Authors are able to monitor the status of their paper throughout the peer review process. Also, they can contact our Editorial board through mail.

If the answer to these questions is “yes”, the manuscript may well be appropriate for our journal, regardless of the system being studied. In this case, please feel free to submit the full manuscript via the “Submit online” option.

Submission

Manuscripts or papers should be submitted via the Journal's “Submit online” option. Before submitting a manuscript, authors should go through “Guidelines” to ensure that the paper adheres to formatting and policy requirements - this will help to enable quick processing of the manuscript once received

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts judged by the editors to be of sufficient general interest are accepted promptly after review. To speed up the review process, only manuscripts that seem likely to meet high reviewer rankings for publication priority and scientific merit are sent for external peer review. Manuscripts sent out for peer review are evaluated by at least one independent senior reviewer (usually two). All essential recommendations are considered, but it is at the Editor’s discretion to choose reviewers. Reviewers are not notified or identified to the authors, except at the specific request of the reviewer. As soon as sufficient numbers of reviews are received, the Editorial Advisory board then recommends a decision to the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewer evaluations:

• Provisional Acceptance -
The manuscript is provisionally accepted.

• Minor or major revision -
In cases where the editors determine that the authors should be able to address the referees’ concerns in a month or less the editors may request a revised manuscript that addresses concerns. The revised version may be sent back to the original reviewers for re-review especially if new data are requested.

• Reject with the option to resubmit
- In cases where reviewer concerns are more serious and appear unlikely to be addressed within a month, the editors will normally reject the manuscript

Post Acceptance Process

As the manuscript is accepted and typeset; the corresponding author will be prompted and notified on behalf of all authors. Failure to reply our communications will result in delay of publication.
